CE
From Vital Pulp Therapy to Anatomically Directed Root Treatment - Everything is Changing
Presenter: Dr. Martin Trope
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 4/14/20
New materials and technologies enable us now to consider treatments that were previously considered impossible. This CE webinar will cover how bioceramic materials have changed our definition of irreversible pulpitis and also how we think about single cone hyraulic obturation techniques. In addition new designs of root canal instruments make Shilder’s “envelope of motion” an attainable goal with resultant better contact of the wider parts of the canal while maintaining maximal tooth structure.

The Role of BioActive Materials in Vital Pulp Therapy
Presenter: Dr. Martin Trope
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 9/22/19
Maintaining the vital pulp has enormous advantages even in mature teeth. Until recently the indications for vital pulp therapy have been very limited due to the disadvantages of the materials used for these procedures. New bioactive materials have changed everything! In this CE webinar, I will suggest new recommendations for vital pulp therapy and discuss the properties of these new materials that have allowed us to expand the role of vital pulp therapy.

CE
The Nuts and Bolts of the New Anatomical NiTi Technology
Presenter: Dr. Rina Campbell
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 9/18/19
Upon completion of the CE webinar, the clinician/participant will be able to:
• Outline the differences between traditional and expanding NiTi Instruments.
• Become familiar with the concept of anatomical cleaning and shaping.
• Understand the importance of conserving tooth structure through minimally invasive canal shaping.
• Understand and conceptualize the application of the new adaptive NiTi instruments in the daily dental practice

CE
Vital Pulp Cryotherapy
Presenter: Dr. James Bahcall
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 7/14/19
This CE webinar will cover clinical case selection, treatment and prognosis, through the understanding of proper diagnosis, materials and biological considerations, when performing vital pulp cryotherapy treatment.

CE
Blending Heat, Design, and Motion for Effective NiTi Rotary Instrumentation
Presenter: Dr. Ali Nasseh
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 9/25/18
With nearly three decades after the introduction of NiTi rotary instrumentation, much information is now available about the role of metallurgy, design, and motion to optimize root canal instrumentation. In this CE webinar, Dr. Nasseh discusses some design, metallurgy, and motion concepts and demonstrates a technique that encompasses these concepts for effective NiTi instrumentation of molars and other teeth.

CE
Treatment of Post Endodontic Disease
Presenter: Dr. Martin Trope
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 9/11/18
Retreatment of root canal failures provide unique challenges. Many times the canal has been transported and/or the survivability of the tooth is jeopardized due to the removal of excessive amounts of dentin with the original root canal procedure. Successful treatment requires a thorough understanding of the causes of failure, the prognosis of each possible approach to treatment and technologies and materials that allow us the best possibility of biologic success as well as maximum potential for survivability of the tooth. This CE webinar will discuss the causes of failure and the theoretical strategies for success. New technologies will be presented that allow us to disinfect the canal maximally with minimal destruction of the remaining tooth structure. Where retreatment is deemed to be too dangerous or the prognosis is not good enough, surgical approaches with new bioceramic root repair materials will be discussed.

CE
Warm Obturation in the Bioceramic Age
Presenter: Dr. Stephen Buchanan, DDS, FICD, FACD
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 8/26/18
Warm gutta percha techniques have utilized ZOE based sealers for over 50 years. Up to this point the newer and more biocompatible bioceramic sealers have not been optimized for warm obturation. This CE webinar will discuss how to utilize a new heat tolerant pre-mixed bioceramic sealer with warm gutta percha techniques to allow for a dense 3-D and biologic fill. Learn how to prepare and place carriers, block surplus sealer and coronal down-packing techniques.

Instrument safety: Reciprocation vs. Rotation. Which is Better?
Presenter: Dr. Ali Nasseh
CE Credits: 1 CEU (Home Study)

Release Date: 5/6/18
Instrument safety and efficiency are components of our decision making process when choosing endodontic nickel titanium files for clinical use. In this CE webinar, Dr. Nasseh will discuss the role that instrument design and motion play in promoting safety while generating excellent outcomes. It will specifically address the role of instrumentation motions such as rotation vs. reciprocation and will describe the best ways to optimize each motion. Additionally, the best indications for use and contraindications for each motion will be fully discussed and demonstrated. After completing the CE webinar, participants will have a better understanding of instrument design, motion, and the various techniques for optimizing safety during root canal instrumentation.
